Meet the Massage Therapist
Amy Nelson, LMT
Licensed Massage Therapist
Amy graduated from the American Institute of Alternative Medicine in 2001, where she received her massage therapy degree. After graduation, Amy worked along side a well established and incredibly talented therapist with decades of experience who specialized in deep tissue and sports therapy massages. Amy is licensed through the Virginia Board of Nursing and her techniques include swedish, deep tissue, sports, aromatherapy and lymphatic drainage massages. She combines her knowledge and education to provide specific and therapeutic techniques that are catered to her patients needs. It is Amy’s passion to work with the musculoskeletal system to aid in safe and natural healing. When Amy is not giving massages, she loves to entertain her friends and family by hosting meals and events at her home. She also enjoys yoga, dancing, live music, and reading.

- Prenatal Massage - Starting in the second trimester, prenatal massage is a healthy way to reduce stress and promote overall wellness for mother and baby.
- Sports Massage
- Swedish Massage - is the most well known type of bodywork and will benefit your physical body and your emotional well-being. Long gliding strokes help promote total body wellness and relaxation. There are many options when it comes to pressure, technique, and areas of focus. These will all be discussed and customized for you during your appointment.
